Couple more pics from the last Mini Track Day
Thought I'd post a couple more pics that Ian took of the Mini when we were out at Dunnville Autodrome last weekend. Check them out!

Check out this promo video I made for Redline Motorsports. It is going to be the intro for their new website.
Some Pics and Video from Autocrossing
This past Sunday I was able to get over to the Finger Lakes Region SCCA Autocross. I had a great time and while I only came in 11th place, I improved greatly throughout the day. I had never autocrossed a rear wheel drive car before, so it took some getting used too! I plan to attend the next one on October 5th, to see how I would do

Can't wait for next time!
RICEBOYTV.COM
Well, I just recently returned from California, after visiting with the Rice Boy Media guys. Ricky Chu, John Naderi, and Mike Robleto, formerly of Super Street Magazine, have started up RiceBoyTV.com, an online TV and media site.
Considering these guys are some of the top-notch media professionals in the industry, I was not surprised to see their following and how well the site is doing, having only been launched for a short time now. I had an incredible time at their office, and felt very welcome.
Their site is all about the import and motorsports culture, ranging from feature car reviews to model interviews, and even racing coverage. They do a great job of adding humor with factual coverage and they have a wealth of knowledge to share with the world. I can recommend, first-hand, that their knowledge is deep and the site definitely shows this!
On to the good news! I, as Technotic Media, will be providing graphic design services for RiceBoyTV.com, as well as some vinyl graphics jobs, and possibly some video work into the future. I'm hoping to be able to help them out on the east coast, as well as take some of the work load off of them. They welcomed me as part of their team, and I think this is a great start to, hopefully, a great strategic partnership between Rice Boy Media and Technotic Media. Additionally, I will be taking over administration of their forums, hoping to clean it up and focus it on content to complement the main site.
Visit their site at www.riceboytv.com and be sure to check out their forums as well!
Mid-Ohio Speedway
I completely forgot to write about my track day at Mid-Ohio Speedway!
Considering it was my first motorcycle track day, I was pretty nervous about how I would do. I've had experience with cars on the track and at autocross, so I was hoping that experience would help. It certainly did!
After the first couple sessions I got the hang of it and we started to really pick up the pace. Our group was passing some of the higher groups and we really seemed to work well together. From the first day to the second day, they moved our group up, and it was good to hear some great feedback from the instructor.
As for Mid-Ohio, it was an awesome track overall. Great road surface, and a very fast course. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to do a track day.
The group that I did the track day with was Sportbike Track Time and I would definitely recommend them as a track day organization. Great staff, great instruction and it was well put together. {thumbs up}
Check out this video below of me on the track at Mid-Ohio:

I'm really excited because I just registered for my second track day this spring so far! Both events are with Sportbike Track Time. My first event this year, also my first event ever, is at Mid Ohio Speedway, and the second event is going to be at Barber Motorsports Park, down in Leeds, AL.
What's really cool about the second one is that the event includes a dinner and private showing of the Barber Museum. It's going to be a long drive down to Alabama, but it will definitely be worth it!!!
