I was on the news!
Last night, I was on the 6pm news (No, I didn't break any laws) talking about Kirsten Gillabrand and her flip-flop attitude with gun rights.
GSG-5
I recently picked up a GSG-5, which is a semi-automatic .22LR rifle, styled like a MP5. I wrote a small article on it over on nyfirearms.com

Check it out:GSG-5 on NY Firearms
NY Firearms Articles
I recently wrote two NY Firearms articles....
Check them out and give it a read!
Czech Arms Kevlar Varmint .308 Rifle
Picked this up locally a week or two ago. It was used, but in perfect condition!
It's a Czech Arms 550 Kevlar Varmint with a Nikon 3-9x40 Scope and a bipod. The barrel is a 26" heavy style barrel. Looks like it would be very accurate. I still have yet to shoot it!
It's chambered for .308 rounds and the shop gave me some with the gun, but like I said, I haven't had a chance to get to a range and sight it in good.

NY Firearms
Well I've pretty much finished up a new site that I've been working on, nyfirearms.com. I've been on vacation in Ireland, and because of the time change, I'm not able to get to sleep early at all. Instead of wasting the time, I just kept working on trying to get the site ready to launch. After some frustrating work with WordPress and Simple Machines Forums, I've been able to get to the site to a point where I can start inviting people to visit it.
The site is a blog and forum dedicated to the ownership, laws, and politics of firearms in New York State. I, along with some other firearms enthusiasts, will be updating the site with news, reviews, and other content. So please check out the site over at www.nyfirearms.com and let me know what you think!
